After spending much of my life training in the Visual Arts, I've found a greater fulfillment in the written word. Overcome now with the need to write on an almost daily basis, my imagination is unlimited in ways that I found too structured by simply physical mediums. While I still enjoy an occasional return to the canvas & paint, I feel I am fully defined as a writer now. After years of working on various projects and posting stories on online writers' forums to get the critical reviews I needed, I finally gathered together to strongest pieces. "Paper Cuts: Tales Of Horror & Fantasy" came out on May 15th of 2007 and is available on amazon or able to be ordered through any Borders or B&N outlet store. My 2nd book, "The Glorious & The Wretched," another collection of 32 Mythic Horror and Dark Modern Fantasy short stories was released on Feb. 28th, 2008. Not only is this book bigger, but I feel essentially better - showing my evolution as a writer. That same month, I released a Lulu Publishing exclusive poetry chapbook titled "And If Eternity Failed You..." It features 13 symbolic poems about relationships staggered around 6 romantic realism short stories. I'm almost finished with my 1st novel, the 500 page "Petty Like A God," which will be pt.1 of The Godlings Trilogy. Along with those follow-up books, I have 3 "stand alone" novels in various stages of completion. I don't believe in the science of writing - I believe it is an art. I simply imagine every scene, see it in my head and describe what is occurring as best as my ability allows. Money and fame are irrelevant to me, I only want people to read my work and hopefully come way from it with something, moved somehow.
